Christy & James…Basement Project

We have FINALLY finished our basement! 
A quick tour:
New carpet, new crown molding (James did a great job, especially considering the mess we were working with after cutting drywall open to get to wires), new windows and trim, and new lights. We have learned a lot!

We cut open this wall to utilize the under-stair space. Ollie seems to like his little toy nook!
This side of the room has all new ceiling in addition to all of the other things mentioned above.
We framed out and added this closet as well, so thankfully we have plenty of storage!
Also, carpeted stairs are really nice too compared to what they looked like beforehand.
Lastly, we are very happy to finally have the house rewired as well. It’s so nice to see new grounded wire coming out of this panel, and even nicer that I know where all of them run through the house! Waiting to get my mom’s label maker so I can label all of the outlets with the breaker number “Baker style”
